Will Olsen had quite a week. Luckily, his friend Ian Brown was there to help him.

Read the following words and phrases and their definitions.
  • choke - become unable to breathe because something gets stuck in your throat
  • his buddy - his good friend
  • Heimlich maneuver - a series of steps to help somebody who is choking
  • abdomen - belly; the part of your body below the chest with you stomach and other organs
  • thrust - a strong push
  • abdominal thrust - a strong push in the belly
  • dislodge - remove with great force
